Question about my new retainer after having braces removed.?

I just had my braces removed recently and I now have to wear a retainer every night. The problem is that ever since I started wearing the retainer I have been snoring at night, according to my husband. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do about it? I never snored before this so that is why we are assuming that it has something to do with the retainer.

You can try some breathing medicines and other snore help things.
Or you could where the retainer during the day instead of at night.

Your mouth is probably not used to there being a smaller space in your mouth to breath through because the retainer takes up the top of your mouth.
