non snoring pillow
My dads snoring is driving me up the wall!?
He just snores, NON STOP. His room is right next to me, I close my door, his door, wear earplugs, and I can still hear him! One night I contemplated smacking him with a pillow…anyways. I told him it’s keeping me up but he either laughs or says I’m exaggerating! The lack of sleep is messing with my test scores! Help??
He has always snored, but its gradually getting worse and worse…it’s terrible, and yeah, he’s about 8kgs over weight, but he’ in denial. I swear he thinks he’s hot stuff, I’ve caught him checking himself out in the mirror like 60 times XD haha.
Tell him again, and this time if he laughs, you need to give him the serious face and show him actually how unfunny the situation is, and let him know you certainly are not exaggerating.
If you have to record his loud snoring, do it. (most mobile phones can do this) Perhaps you could ask him to try those strips that you stick on over your nose. If he is over weight, this won’t help the snoring, so suggest he tries losing a few pounds!
If it were me I’d go and sleep on the sofa (not that you should have to) but just for the sake of a good night’s sleep.
Has his snoring always been this bad or is it more recently?
