sinusitis snoring
What causes snoreing? people used to tell me overweightness but i dont think so?
well people have told me you only snore if you are overweight….well….i dont think ALL big people snore but i know everyone in my family who is large snores…and even my overweight kitty snores (cutest thing EVER haha) so is snoreing caused by being overweight?
what about thinner people? my mom snores like a bear haha. and shes in great shape…and my boyfriend snores a lot also and hes normal sized…but me, i have a deviated septum and sinusitis and NEVER snore (but i do talk in my sleep hahaha). what are some causes for snoreing? i tried everything to stop my bf from snoreing (nose spray, changing positions in sleeping, etc)
over weightness can be a factor in snoring but there are many things that can cause snoring.
Deviated septums, sinus issues, enlarged tonsils and/or adnoids, enlarged uvula ( the hangy ball thing), airways size, a large soft palate, muscle tone in the airway or tongue.
I hope this helps, If you are concerned your bf should see a ENT specialist.
