look at one to see how you want it to look then make a basic mask and decorate to taste
Trace a lot of pieces of paper till you get it right on you
cut 2 pieces one half inch larger than pattern in satin
cut one in quilt batting
cut two in wonder under (fusible webbing. or stitch witchery)
iron fusible webbing to both rough sides of the satin pieces
lay satin down face down
trim batting smaller by at least 3/4 inch all around cut in half separating sides and trimming off some at the nose area,,remember to cut the eye holes a little bigger so the satin will cover it.
place ribbon ties on top of the batting to be trapped inside
Place the pieces of batting on the first piece of satin and lay down second piece of satin shiny side up
Press it around the edges to fuse together
Was Holly’s mask a tie around or a piece of elastic? You could use an adjustable bra strap, they have clear ones to replace old ones at Jo Anns and other fabric stores.
